Artwork Details

Autumn is my absolute favorite season. I was inspired by the thought of leaves falling from their branches and landing in a body of water. This month I’ll give you a slight glimpse into my process. I started this artwork with an original watercolor of abstracted leaves floating on water. (Actually, I started by wandering off while camping to drop leaves into a pond and take pictures of them like a crazy person… to use for reference while painting) I then added it to a digital background I created in Photoshop, then with a little blending and brushing I got it to the final version you see here. Now, no matter what part of the world you are in, you can enjoy the amazing colors of some autumn reflections.
