I love all things plaid and have always had an affinity for the outdoors. I especially loved exploring ponds or turning over rocks to find salamanders as a kid. plaidGecko became my art name, partially because I came up with it while living in Thailand, surrounded by geckos on my walls, and also because plaidSalamander just didn’t have the same ring to it.
